Cross Country Continues Breaking Records Late In The Season

The AACS boys and girls cross country teams claimed 1st place in the 1st annual Eagle Invitational on Saturday, October 19.  Both the girls and boys teams set multiple personal bests including some record breaking times.

Meadow Mackey won the race with a time of 20:50.  Mackey set a new freshman record with her time.  Madison Cote finished in second with a time of 20:55.  Cote set a record time for seniors.  Clara Blasberg earned 4th place while Grace Hall finished in 8th.

Hunter Steinau set a new school record and also finished 1st with a time of 16:04.  Lucas Williams placed 4th with a time of 16:57 and Ethan Leonovich came in 5th with a time of 17:13.  Eric Johnson placed 9th.

The Eagles begin their preparation for league championship meets coming up on Tuesday, October 29 for the girls and Tuesday, November 5 for the boys.  Both races will be held at McDaniel College.
