On Thursday, October 5 in a tri-meet with Severn and Roland Park, the AACS girls varsity cross country team defeated Severn School 22-34, but fell to the reigning B conference champions, Roland Park 20-38.  Freshman Kelly Anne Bickhart set a personal best with a time of 20:44 and also finished second overall in the IAAM B Conference race.  Sophomore Mattie Miller came in 7th overall with a time of 22:30. Junior Sara Nolan came in 10th overall with a time of 23:57.  During this race, at least half of the girls set personal bests for AACS.  The Eagles will head off to Oldfields School for a tri-meet with Oldfields and Garrison Forest on Tuesday, October 10.
