During the week of December 9, the girls varsity swim team broke 5 school record.  Leah Boardman beat the 50 free time with a time of 29:15.  Paige Lovelace broke the record for 100 free with a time of 1:00.89.  Lovelace also broke the 200 free time with a time of 2:16.  The following relay teams also broke school records: 200 medley relay - Paige Lovelace, Leah Boardman, Ashlyn Carlisle, and Melissa McCollum (2:25.87), 200 free relay - Erika Hartman, Lizze Kosmerl, Melissa McCollum, and Leah Boardman (2:10.44), and 400 free relay - Melissa McCollum, Sarah Hall, Paige Lovelace, and Ashby Irvin (4:31.98).

The girls swim team is currently 2-2 overall and will pick their schedule back up in the New Year as they host Severn and Pallotti on January 5.
