October Athletes of the Month

Zoe Lemke

Year: Junior

Sport: Soccer

Position: Forward

During October, the girls' soccer team had a 7-2-1 record and secured the 2nd seed for playoffs.  Zoe was a major part of the team's success this year.  She had 9 goals and 3 assists in October and finished the year with 20 goals and 6 assists.  She has the ability to take the game over and make plays happen.   She scored 3 goals in the 4-2 win over Park.  Her most impactful play was in the semifinals: scoring the game winner in the first minute of overtime to defeat Catholic and move the Eagles on to their second straight championship appearance.

Luke Eberle

Year: Senior

Sport: Soccer

Position: Midfield

As a three-year captain, Luke has been great example of hard work and determination.  On the field, he is a playmaker that has earned the respect of the league.  He tallied 4 goals and 5 assists in the month of October and 12 goals and 17 assists overall in his senior season.  He scored 2 goals and had 1 assist in the 4-3 win over Glenelg.  He provided the game winning assist in a 1-0 win over St. Mary's to secure the team's spot in playoffs.
