Girls Lacrosse Is Championship Bound With Win Over Friends

The AACS girls varsity lacrosse team defeated Friends School 16-9 to advance to the IAAM B Conference championships.  Livy Lenhart finished with four goals and four assists.  Lydia Wood had four goals and one assist.    Tracy Grollman added three goals and two assists.  Maggie Stallings scored two and assisted one.  Krissy Milburn also scored two goals.  Taylor Grollman came up with 7 big saves to help secure the win for the Eagles.

This will be the first championship appearance in the B conference and the first since the back to back championship wins in the C conference during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

The Eagles will face off with two-time defending champs, Mercy, in the championship game on Saturday, May 11 at Gerstell Academy at 1:30 PM.  Admission is $8/person.  The game will also be on live-stream through the IAAM website.  The live-stream will also cost $8.
