AACS Remains In 1st With Win Over St. John's

The AACS girls varsity lacrosse team defeated St. John's Catholic Prep 8-7 in overtime on Thursday, April 25.  Tracy Grollman scored the game winning goal after a big save from her twin sister, Taylor, to give the Eagles the overtime win.  The Eagles trailed for most of the second half, but goals by Krissy Milburn, Ellie Lenhart, Lydia Wood, and Tracy Grollman provided the spark needed to eventually win the game.  Taylor Grollman finished with 13 saves including a big overtime save.

Head Coach, Deanna Thorpe, said, "I just want us to finish strong.  We've been playing strong, and I don't want us to slow up."

The Eagles are on a 10-game winning streak and will travel to IND on Tuesday, April 30.
