AACS Moves On To Semifinal Round

The AACS girls varsity lacrosse team defeated Indian Creek 14-5 in the quarterfinal round of the IAAM B Conference playoffs on Monday, May 7.  Junior Abby Boyer had 3 goals and an assist.  Amanda Wadsworth, Maggie Anderson, Tracy Grollman, and Grace Parker each had 2 goals and an assist.  Livy Lenhart also scored 2 goals.  Maggie Stallings added 1 goal.  Freshman goalie Taylor Grollman made 8 saves to help move the Eagles into the semifinal round of playoffs.

Senior Amanda Wadsworth is only 9 points away from breaking the Maryland record for career points (396), which is currently held by Brooke Griffin from South River.

The Eagles will travel to Park School on Wednesday, May 9 on their quest for the championship.
