March Athletes of the Month

Taylor Grollman

Year: Freshman

Sport: Lacrosse

Position: Goalie

In her first two varsity games, Taylor saved 23 shots to preserve a 9-7 win over St. John's and had 13 saves in the Eagles' 19-8 win over Institute of Notre Dame. The team is tied for first place in the IAAM B Conference and has its sights set on the championship. Taylor was also recognized by laxinmd.inc with the Brick Wall Goalie Award and named the ABC Channel 2 Athlete of the week. She plays soccer and basketball as well, and excels in each sport.

Josh Murray

Year: Senior

Sport: Baseball

Position: Catcher

Josh is off to a hot start to the season, helping the team to wins over Sts. Peter & Paul, Severn and Gerstell.  The senior, captain has handled  catching duties admirably.  For the season, Josh is batting .424 with 14 hits, 5 RBI's and 2 doubles.  He had a 5-hit game against Sts. Peter & Paul.  Josh has been consistent at the plate and in the field. He is one of the team's leaders and has the respect of the coaches and his teammate.
