The AACS girls varsity basketball team defeated Friends School 40-31 in the home opener on Wednesday, November 29.  Bella Taylor led all scorers with 15 points.  Kenzi Anderson added 9 points and Mariah Green had 6 points.  April Black led the team with 12 rebounds and 3 steals.

Head Coach Eric Fagan said, "The girls truly played their hardest tonight.  I am very proud of the effort that they put into not only the game but also all of their work so far in this season."

The Eagles start the season 1-0 and will host Greenwood Mennonite on Friday, December 1 in the 29th annual Eagle Classic.
