The AACS girls basketball won five straight games over Christmas break including winning the Hyde Holiday Tournament. The team defeated Northern 52-50, Northeast 50-48, Queen Anne's 50-39, Faith Christian 51-48, and Delaware County Christian 55-15.
Over the five game winning streak, Jezreel Reynolds tallied 80 points, Taylor Grollman had 45, Lydia Wood finished with 39, and Daesha Young had 31. Wood and Young both had double-doubles in the win over Faith Christian.
The Eagles improve to 7-5 overall and will host Mercy on Wednesday, January 8 for their next conference game.
