The AACS girls varsity basketball team defeated Delaware County Christian 73-19 in the first round of the 3rd Annual Christmas Classic on Thursday, December 27.  Reniyah Ross led all scorers with 22 points and also had 5 rebounds and 3 steals.  Morgan DeBeary finished with 16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 7 steals.  Destiny Fatusin added 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.  Ani Gadson chipped in with 7 points, 8 assists, and 3 rebounds.

The Eagles improve to 4-6 overall and will face Northern High School in the 2nd round of the tournament on Friday, December 28 at 6:45 PM.
