The AACS girls varsity basketball team defeated the Cougars of Mt. Carmel 43-35 in the IAAM B Conference match up on Wednesday, January 24.  Junior Reniyah Ross led the Eagles with 10 points.  Sophomore Ani Gadson added 9 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 5 steals.  Freshman Koi Sims chipped in with 8 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 blocks.  Sophomore Deja Bristol also had 13 rebounds and 4 blocks.

The Eagles improve to 7-2 in conference and 15-4 overall.
