The AACS girls varsity basketball team defeated Poolville High School (Poolville, TX) 52-36 in the first round of the KSA Tournament at Disney World.  Sophomore Ani Gadson led the team with 15 points and also added 4 rebounds and 3 steals.  Fellow sophomore Deja Bristol earned a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.  Freshman Koi Sims chipped in with 9 points and 10 rebounds.  Senior Paige Adebo had 7 points.

The girls will move on to play Chouteau-Mazie High School from Oklahoma on Tuesday, December 19.
