The AACS girls varsity basketball team defeated Mercy 53-26.  The Eagles defense held the Magic to just 8 points in the first half.  Freshman Koi Sims had a team-high of points and also had 5 rebounds and 2 blocks.  Junior Reniyah Ross added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds and also chipped in with 3 assists and 2 steals.  Senior Camille Sims added 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.  The girls team improves to 2-0 in conference and 5-0 overall.

The team will host Chesapeake High School on Tuesday, December 11.
