Sims' Buzzer Beater Gives AACS The Victory Over St. Paul's

Freshman Koi Sims hit the game winning shot off a pass from junior Reniyah Ross to give the Eagles the 72-70 win over St. Paul's School for Girls on Tuesday, December 6.  Ross finished the game with 21 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and a steal.  K. Sims added 15 points and 21 rebounds.  Sophomore Deja Bristol also had a double-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks.  Junior Morgan DeBeary chipped in with 10 points and 4 rebounds.  Senior Camille Sims had 8 points and 9 rebounds.

Coach Jim Domoracki said, "I'm proud of our girls and how they fought back from a slow start.  They persevered and executed down the stretch when the game was on the line and showed character throughout the game.  Hopefully they learned to play hard every possession because every possession counts."

The Eagles improve to 4-0 and will host Mercy on Friday, December 8 at 5:30 PM.
