AACS Girls Basketball Win It All In Eagle Classic

The AACS girls varsity team defeated Catholic High School and Indian Creek to win the 23rd Annual Eagle Classic.

On Friday, December 1, the girls team defeated Catholic High 59-25.  Freshman Koi Sims led the way with 18 points.  Junior Reniyah Ross and sophomore Deja Bristol each scored 12 points.  Senior Paige Adebo grabbed 14 rebounds while junior Morgan DeBeary added 9 steals.

In the championship game on Saturday, December 2, the girls played a rematch of last year's Eagle Classic championship game in which they came out victorious over Indian Creek (56-28).  Ross was named tournament MVP with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals.  Sims was named to the All-Tournament team with 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals.  Senior Camille Sims added 9 points and 9 rebounds.

The Eagles improve to 3-0 and will open up league play at St. Paul's School for Girls on Tuesday, December 5.
