Track and Field Continues Success In Weekend Meet

The AACS Track and Field team finished 1st overall for the boys and 2nd overall for the girls in their meet at Spalding on Saturday, April 13.

Eli Croskey earned 1st in the 100m and 2nd in the 400m in addition to being apart of the 1st place 4x100 relay team with Elijah Pierre, Justin Hamilton, and Kerrell Clark.  Tim Graustein took 1st in the 3200m and 2nd in the 1600m while Jack Nebbia placed 1st in the 1600m.  Graustein and Nebbia were also part of the 1st place 4x800 relay team with Jack Marti and Connar McGrath.  Joe Kelly and Daniel Twegby saw great improvements in the shot put and discus and both earned PRs.  Kelly was 1st in shot put and Twegby was 2nd in discus.

Verity Fogarty finished in 1st in the 1600m, 2nd in the 3200m, and was 1st in the 4x800 relay team with Rachel Hutchins, Betsy Ball, and Grace Deterding.  Hutchins also placed 2nd in the 800m.  Sage Young took 1st in shot put and 4th in discus. 4x200 relay team of Amani Brown, Jordan Jackson, Maya Elliott, and Dillan Clarke earned 1st place.  April Black finished 2nd in the 100m and was part of the 2nd place 4x400 relay team with Sydney Ahmed, Emma Hughes, and Elliott.
