The AACS girls varsity softball team defeated Bryn Mawr 16-1 on Thursday, April 4.  The Eagles opened the season with an offensive explosion in the first inning scoring eight runs. Senior Brooke Fitzgerald had four RBIs and double. Sarah Billett and Bella Taylor also contributed with two RBI's each and both doubled. Lydia Proulx laid down an amazing bunt in the second inning earning 2 RBI's and ended at third with an error on first. Brooke Fitzgerald earned the win striking out five of eleven batters.
