April Athletes of the Month

Reece Clark

Year: Senior

Sport: Track

Reece has been one of the most dependable and versatile athletes in this first year track program. He runs in the 4x100 and 4x400, and throws the discus and shot put. The 4x100 team won the event at the John Carroll Invite defeating previously undefeated and reigning champions St. Frances.  Reece's work ethic and positive and encouraging attitude has truly revealed his competitive spirit and servant's heart. He has made a long lasting impression on this young team.

"Reece has been to every practice, steadfast, and diligently pursues every event as if it were his last opportunity to compete. I am so proud to coach him for this small window of my life. – Ualani Schmitt, Varsity Head Coach.

Lindsay Wilson

Year: Junior

Sport: Softball

Position: Pitcher

Lindsay is a two-time IAAM All Conference pitcher who is having another stellar season. On the mound she is 4-2 with a 1.93 ERA and 56 strikeouts. At the plate she is hitting .563 with a .938 slugging percentage and 13 RBI's. She hit a grand slam against Sts. Peter and Paul. Arguably, Lindsay's most impressive moment has come when returning from not playing for a week due to an injury, she struck out the first nine batters she faced in a game against Maryvale.

"Lindsay has played a big role on our team this season, both pitching and at the plate. She has been one of most consistent pitchers in the conference. She leads by example and her love of the game is infectious."– Josh Danza, Varsity Head Coach
