December Athletes of the Month

Reniyah Ross

Year: Junior

Sport: Basketball

Position: Guard

Reniyah Ross helped lead the Eagles to an 11-2 record and championships in the Eagle Classic and AACS Christmas Tournament.  Reniyah was named the Eagle Classic Most Outstanding Player scoring 25 points, grabbing 11 boards and dishing out 8 assists. She was named to the Christmas All-Tournament team netting 38 points and 9 assists. Reniyah is the team's leading scorer at 13.5 points per game.  She also averages 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.  The team is undefeated in conference play so far.

"Reniyah has stepped up this year as a player and as a leader. Her willingness to get out of her comfort zone and step it up on defense has elevated her game to a new level."     - Jim Domoracki, Varsity Head Coach

Myles Henderson

Year: Junior

Sport: Swimming

Myles has been a solid competitor for three years in the swim program.  As a sophomore, he set the school record in the 500 free.  That record has already been broken three times this year.  In his last meet against Beth T'Filoh, his time for the 500 Free was 5:37:52 (a full 41 seconds better than the mark he set last year).  Myles is also dominating in the butterfly and is a key member of the freestyle relay team.  The team is off to a good start and much of that can be attributed to Myles' character and determination in and out of the pool.

"Myles is a leader in and out of the pool. On deck Myles encourages his teammates, giving them pointers on strokes and turns and how to swim a meet successfully. Myles has put in the hard work this past year and it will be exciting to see how the season finishes out for him." - Rachel Duncan, Varsity Head Coach
