Sydney WhiteYear: Junior Sport: Field Hockey Position: Attack/Middie Sydney has been a key player in the program. Even though opponents keyed in on stopping her, Sydney scored three goals and assisted on three others during the month of September. She is an inspiration to her teammates with her positive attitude and work ethic. Sydney never gives up and always gives a great effort. "Stats may not show it directly, but Sydney has had an incredible impact on the team this season so far. Justin AlfordYear: Junior Sport: Soccer Position: Striker/Back Line Justin has got off to a great start to the season leading the team in goals scored with 12. He tallied the first hat trick against Gerstell, the first time it has been done by an AACS player in over a decade. Recently Justin moved back to defense and was a key factor in the team's 4-0-1 run in which there were 4 consecutive shutouts. "I have not coached a player who has been so influential on both ends of the pitch. Ultimately, such success has come down to his leadership and character in delivering for his team in so many different ways.
