The AACS boys varsity soccer team defeated St. Mary's 2-0 in the MIAA B Conference match on Wednesday, September 20.  Senior Collin O'Keefe and junior Justin Alford both followed up on rebounded shots to each score a goal for the Eagles.  Senior goalie Nick Lloyd came up with a big save off of a penalty kick to help earn the first shut out of the year. Lloyd made 8 saves in the game.

Lloyd said, "We need to hit the ground running.  We got our feet wet and hopefully we can use this as a platform to build on."

The Eagles improve to 2-4-1 in conference and will head off to Boys Latin next on Friday, September 22.
