AACS Claims Championship With Win Over Indian Creek

In a rematch of the 2018 championship game, the AACS boys varsity lacrosse team defeated Indian Creek 17-11 on Friday, May 17 to win the MIAA C Conference championship.  The Eagles led 9-6 at halftime and were able to hold off Indian Creek and maintain their lead throughout the entire game.  Dylin Borden led the team with 6 goals and 4 assists.  Lucas Williams game through with 3 goals and 2 assists.  Anthony Coppola added 3 goals.  John Gage Collier finished with 2 goals and 2 assists.  Brian Hulsey, Joey Dixon, and Jack Rife all scored one goal each.

Head Coach Luther Fleming said, "We have quite a few guys that were here last year and they got out ahead on Indian Creek and Indian Creek came back and they won it.  We were determined not to let that happen again."

The Eagles were able to end the season on a 13 game winning streak to finish up 15-2 overall.
