The AACS boys varsity lacrosse team defeated Gunston Day School 16-12 on Friday, May 4. Junior John Gage Collier tallied 7 goals and an assist. Senior Jay Jenkins added 5 goals and an assist. Sophomore Mason Fortlage scored 2 goals while Anthony Coppola and Brian Hulsey each scored 1 goal. Senior goalie Cole Vazquez made 10 saves. The Eagles controlled the ground balls 39-23.
The team moves to 12-2 overall with their final regular season game on Tuesday, May 8 at Indian Creek.
