The AACS boys varsity lacrosse team defeated Indian Creek 15-7 on Tuesday, April 3. Senior Jay Jenkins led all scorers with 6 goals. Junior John-Gage Collier added 5 goals and an assist. Collier also picked up 5 ground balls. Sophomore Anthony Coppola had 2 goals. Fellow sophomores Ben Sturgell and Mason Fortlage each scored a goal. Senior Cole Vazquez made 16 saves in goal for the Eagles.
"They were pretty relentless today and we had a good stretch. That was a very good team we were playing against. They were in the finals last year and I have all the respect in the world for them," said Coach Bob Sturgell.
The Eagles improve to 2-0 in conference and will travel to Cristo Rey on Friday, April 6.
