The AACS boys varsity basketball team defeated Gilman 82-68 in the championship game of the Maryland Independent School Tournament. Junior Aaron Celcis led all scorers with 32 points and also had 10 rebounds. Senior Cameron Williams added 16 points. Junior Eddie Scott finished with 12 points and fellow junior RJ Forbes had 10 points.
Coach Doug Scheidt said, "The Championship of the Maryland Independent School Tournament was a great finish to the season. Very proud of my seniors Cam Williams, Reece Clark, and Chris Gill. Our guys came together to get three signature wins against McDonogh, Bullis and then Gilman to end the year with the title."
