The AACS girls varsity field hockey team defeated Gunston Day School 2-1 on Friday, September 15.  Juniors Abby Boyer and Courtney Fusting carried the offense with one goal each.  Freshman Lexie Steele assisted on one goal to help lead the Eagles to victory.  Junior Arianna Crawley recorded 7 saves.  The Eagles improve to 2-1-1 overall.  The team continues with conference play this week with games at Maryvale and Severn.
