Rader Signs With West Virginia Wesleyan

Senior Jordan Rader has signed with West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, WV to play football.  Rader has been a four-year varsity player along with a year of throwing shot put on the track team.  He's been playing football for 12 years where he was apart of the defensive line.  Rader was apart of the 2015, 2017, and 2018 championship teams.  He was also named to the MIAA All-Conference team along with 1st team All-County in 2018.

After checking out West Virginia Wesleyan, Rader knew this was where he could call home for the next four years.  He loved the college atmosphere and all the football program had to offer.  While there, he plans to study accounting.

AACS provided an opportunity for Jordan to be pushed more and more to be successful.  He has been given opportunities to lead his teammates and his peers.  Being on the football team showed him he had to put in the work in order to succeed.  As an undersized lineman, he had to push that much more in order to make it to the next level.

Athletic Director, Jim Domoracki, said, "It has been a joy to watch Jordan grow from a young and unsure freshman to a confident young man as a senior. He put in the work, both on the field and in the weight room and it has paid off with this opportunity to play at the next level.  Well deserved.  He's been a very good role model for our program. We will miss him for sure."

Head Coach, Mike Lynn, said, "Jordan has been a four year member of the football program.  He has developed into a starter and is the leader of both the offensive and defensive lines.  Jordan is one of the hardest working players in the program.  His toughness and aggressive play are match with his great sense of humor and amazing spirit.  He is a great example of what it means to be a team player.  We will miss Jordan next year."
