The AACS boys varsity football team defeated St. John's 23-17 on Saturday, September 29. Senior Sam Akinmukomi rushed for 223 yards on 22 carries including 3 touchdowns. Akinmukomi also made 17 tackles on defense. Freshman Donnie Frayer nailed a field goal to help lead the Eagles over the Vikings. Junior Ryan Idleman completed 9 of 18 passes for 133 yards.
The Eagles are now 2-1 in conference and 3-1 overall.
