Baseball Earns Big Win Over McDonogh

The AACS boys varsity baseball team defeated McDonogh 8-6 on Wednesday, April 19. Sawyer Shepherd started off the offense in the bottom of the third inning with a two-run homer to give AACS a 2-1 lead.  Shepherd finished 2-3 on the day.  Andrew Hammond added two hits and three RBIs.

As starting pitcher, Robbie Ballagh threw for 4 1/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out five.  Christian Proulx took over the mound for 2 2/3 innings and also struck out five.

The Eagles will travel to Gerstell on Friday, April 21 for their next conference game.
