The AACS boys varsity baseball team defeated Mt. Carmel 5-1 on Tuesday, May 14 in the MIAA B Conference playoffs.  Matt Sowinski started from the mound and went 6 innings giving up one run on three hits and striking out eight.  Evan Haulik came in in the 7th inning to help secure the win for the Eagles.  Haulik and Austin Swartz each had two hits.  Isaac Miller had a big hit in the 7th inning to score two more runs to finish out the game.

The Eagles head to Pallotti for the next round of playoffs on Wednesday, May 15.
