Career Highlights for Monica Wagoner Sisk ‘98

Monica was a member of the first volleyball team at AACS during her sophomore year.  By her senior year the team had compiled an 18-3 record and she was named First Team All-County. She served as captain her Junior and Senior years.  This was written about Monica in the Baltimore Sun 11/19/97 “Monica Wagoner, Annapolis Area Christian School, Senior, Hitter. As this Texas native grew, so did the Eagles volleyball program. In just their third year, the Eagles compiled an overall 18-3 record including victories over 2A semifinalist South River and Spalding of the Catholic League with Wagoner leading the way. Wagoner led her team in serving (187 for 207), 90%), kills (120), blocks (57) and had 20 aces and 30 digs to become the first Christian School athlete named All-County.”  Monica earned a scholarship to Houghton College and was a 4-year starter, twice helping the team qualify for the NIAA National Tournament.
