AACS Career Highlights for Michael Stine ‘85

Michael Stine ’85, known as “Mike,” was a four-year-starter on the basketball team, a four-year-starter on the soccer team, and played two years of baseball for AACS.  He loved athletic competition and the camaraderie that came along with it.  Mike’s legacy is that he set a standard of competitiveness and demanded effort from all of his teammates.  Much of the foundation that AACS athletics is built upon today was due in part to Mike and his classmates in the early years of the school.  Perseverance, representing Christ well in defeat or success, and team unity are things that are still hallmarks and Mike had much to do with making those things permanent at AACS.  In addition, Mike went on to be the first AACS graduate whose child attended and graduated from AACS.  Talk about a heritage!
