Career Highlights
Coach Bitzer started the AACS wrestling program in 1989 and coached the team through 2001. He was selected to coach the Independent Schools' Team in the Senior Classic Tournament in 1996 and 2001. He was honored with the Maryland Wrestling Officials Association Sportsmanship Award in 2001. His teams won MIAA Conference Championships in 2000 and 2001 and the Independent Schools' State Championship in 2001. Coach Bitzer started the AACS Boys' Lacrosse program in 1993 and has been the head coach since the program's inception. The team won MIAA Conference Championships in 1998, 1999 and 2009. He was selected to coach in the Maryland State Lacrosse Coaches Association All Star Game in 1999. Coach Bitzer has been a positive influence in AACS Athletics for over 22 years.
