Amy was a four year starter in soccer and one year starter on AACS' inaugural softball team. She graduated as AACS' and Anne Arundel County's all time leader in goals scored in a career (79) and in a single season (32). Amy was a member of three Tri-State League Championships and was selected as the League's Player of the Year in three consecutive years. Twice she was named to the Capital Gazette's All County Team and the Washington Post's All Metro Team, and once to the Baltimore Sun's All Metro Team. In 1999, the Maryland Association of Coaches named Amy to the All State Soccer Team. As a softball player, Amy was the captain in the first year of varsity competition. She established AACS records in hits, runs batted in, stolen bases, and fielding percentage. Amy was named the Most Valuable Player of the Chesapeake Women's Athletic Conference, and to the All Conference First Team and All Tournament Team.
