Career Highlights for Megan Campbell McCuen '03
Megan was a standout lacrosse and soccer player for all three years she attended AACS. She was a member of two championship lacrosse teams and three championship soccer teams. Megan served as captain of both teams her senior year. She was named to All Conference Teams for Lacrosse and Soccer multiple times. Megan was a great scorer as well as a strong defender in lacrosse. She was so versatile that she played attack, midfield and defense throughout her career, basically wherever she was needed. Megan scored many of her goals from defensive wing position. She was blessed with great speed and athleticism, and worked hard to develop her skills. Megan was one of top lacrosse scorers each year, finishing with 38 goals and 19 assists her senior year for a total of 57 points. She was also an outstanding defender in soccer, anchoring the defense during AACS’ run of three straight championships. Megan displayed true joy during competition and had a servant’s heart, honoring God in both word and action.
